The rays coming from the sun pass the atmosphere and heat the earth. Gases in the atmosphere hold some of the heat on the earth and prevent the earth's heat loss. While the gases that have heat retention feature in the atmosphere are called greenhouse gases, the heating and insulation effect of the atmosphere is defined as the "Greenhouse Effect".
The gases that cause the main greenhouse effect in the world are 36-70% Water vapor, 9-26% Carbon dioxide, 4-9% Methane and 3-7% Ozone. While some of the greenhouse gases are formed by themselves, some of them are produced by people. As a result of human activities, these gas levels are added and the greenhouse effect is seen as a result.
The enterprises that carry out the activities in the Annex-1 list of the "Regulation on Monitoring of Greenhouse Gas Emissions" published in the Official Gazette No. 29003 dated 17.05.2014 greenhouse gas emissions such as Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Methane (CH4), Diazote Oxide (N2O), Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), Perfluorocarbons (PFCs) and Sulfur Hexafluoride (SF6) need to be monitored and greenhouse gas emissions reduced.
Carbon Footprint calculation and preparation of Greenhouse Gas Emission Reports for enterprises covered by the "Communiqué on Monitoring and Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emissions" are provided.
Carbon Footprint Calculation
Enter your annual consumption information in the relevant fields. Press “calculate” button. Calculate how many trees you owe nature.
Çıkan sonuç, sizin ya da kurumunuzun atmosfere yıllık karbon salımınızı ve bunu dengelemek için bu yıl dikmeniz gereken ağaç sayısını göstermektedir.
